St. Petersburg & the state share a history of boom & bust that has served to shape the city. Historians Paul George of Miami and one of St. Petersburg's favorites, Gary Mormino, will explain the social and economic forces that shaped the booms, describe the architecture that was created and the fortunes that were lost, and regale us with stories of the colorful characters who made it all happen.
