Goonies at Movies in the Park!

The best small event on the waterfront!  Each movie evening starts with live music at 6 pm followed by the movie on the big outdoor screen at dusk (usually around 7:15 pm). The fun takes place in North Straub Park, between 4th Ave. & 5th Ave. NE at Beach Drive. Come early and enjoy live music before the movie, enjoy a picnic or purchase food from one of the Saturday Morning Market’s favorite vendors who will be set up on-site. A limited number of folding chairs will be available, but better yet, attendees are welcome to bring their own blanket or low seat! Bicycling to movies is a fun way to arrive and free bicycle valet parking will be provided by the St. Petersburg Bike Co-Op. Free!

NOTE: Movies will be moving a bit south from the "regular" spot in the park to the part of North Straub Park next to the Museum of Fine Arts and the movie will be shown on the museum wall.

Come dressed for the Halloween costume contest - prizes will be awarded.  Then sit back and enjoy watching the neighborhood kids’ adventures searching for pirate treasure in an effort to stop developers from building a golf course in place of their homes.  Music by Between Bluffs.
