The third Saturday of each month has the St Petersburg Preservation walking tour visiting a different neighborhood and for November it will be a piece of the ‘Burg’s historic downtown. Former St. Petersburg Times journalist and author Jon Wilson will lead the tour group on a fascinating walk down Central Avenue looking back at the post World War II era into the early 1960‘s when Central was still the heart & soul of downtown and Webb’s City, the world’s largest drug store, was still thriving!  A lot has changed since that era and Jon is the perfect guide to lead the group on a trip back in time while regaling tour participants with his stories!

Reservations are encouraged but not required.  Free to SPP members, $5 donation suggested for non-members.  Tour will start in front of Mickey's Café & Organics at 318 Central Ave.
