Historic Uptown Neighborhood Walking Tour

It’s a fifth Saturday of the month (meaning a special tour!) and being the post-Thanksgiving weekend it makes a SPP walking tour the perfect activity to shed a few calories from the Thanksgiving feast and a perfect outing for visiting family or friends! This special tour will visit & highlight one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, Historic Uptown, located on the north edge of downtown.  The neighborhood is a National Register listed historic district of 160 acres deriving its significance from the varied and excellent examples of popular styled homes within the neighborhood from the early 1900's thru the 1920's.

Reservations are recommended but not required.  Tour is free to SPP members and a $5 donation is suggested for non-members.  Tour will start in historic Round Lake Park (across the street from the apartment building at 465 7th Ave. N.).
