Florida architecture developed almost exclusively during real estate booms. People often think of the 1920’s Mediterranean Revival style as Florida’s defining architecture, but over 90% of Florida’s built environment was created after World War II. Architect Allan Shulman will discuss the forces that shaped boom architecture and the struggle to preserve what remains.
