Much of the north half of downtown still retains its historic integrity and has a largely residential feel. The tour will include the areas around the Mirror Lake recreation complex including the shuffleboard courts, the Carnegie Library and historic buildings along 4^th Avenue North like the Veillard residence, one of downtown’s handful of buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As part of the tour, participants will get a special inside look at the 1929 Unitarian Universalist Church on Mirror Lake.

Reservations encouraged but not required. All SPP walking tours are free to members, another great reason to become a member. Tours are $5 for non-members,
