This beautiful Tampa Bay waterfront neighborhood has it all - beautiful 1920's Med Rev and 1950's mid century ranch styled homes. The neighborhood, first developed in the '20′s, was replatted as Bahama Beach in the '40′s and doubled in size with the filling of a portion of Tampa Bay. On the neighborhood’s north end was the luxurious waterfront Bahama Shores Hotel & Yacht Club while to the south, where Bay Vista Park stands today, was the Bee Line Ferry terminal (formed in 1926), the way south before the 1954 opening of the Sunshine Skyway. The tour will be led by neighborhood resident, historian, author of The Making of St. Petersburg and former SPP President Will Michaels. As a bonus, the tour will stop in one of the neighborhood's special homes.

The tour will start in the neighborhood park, Bahama Shores Park. It is located where 58th Avenue South intersects Bahama Shores Drive.
