THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS TOUR. BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR EYE ON OUR NEWSLETTER FOR MORE UPCOMING VIRTUAL TOURS!

What can a city’s buildings tell us about the history and evolution of that community? Join PTB’s favorite architectural historian, Emily Elwyn as she teaches us how to “read” a city by examining its buildings. You’ll develop a new perspective on sites you thought you knew, like the Snell Arcade and the Open-Air Post office, and be introduced to some you may not be aware of, like the Hotel Dennis and the Domestic Science and Manual Training School.

This live tour, conducted via Zoom webinar, blends live in-person visits to historic sites with historic photos and documents to give a rare glimpse into the history of St. Pete.

Open exclusively to members of Preserve the ‘Burg, the tour itself will last about 45 minutes.  Our first virtual tour filled up quickly, so reserve your spot today! If you are not a current member, just make sure to join or renew before you try to register: Become a Member

Important Details: This PTB virtual tour is conducted via Zoom Webinar, and you will receive a separate invitation to join the webinar via email after you have registered. If you do not receive the invite by close of business on Thursday August 6th, please contact Laura Flint at: coordinator@preservetheburg.org

Trouble Registering? The PTB phone line is being serviced on August 31st and may be unavailable for calls, but we will be watching our email closely! If you have trouble with registration or membership, send Laura an email at coordinator@preservetheburg.org and she will respond ASAP!
