City of St. Petersburg Historic Preservation Manager Derek Kilborn, City of Tampa Historic Preservation Manager Dennis Fernandez, and Bob Mayer, President of MR Capital Advisors, have join forces with AIA Tampa Bay and Preserve the 'Burg to discuss how to utilize local, state and federal tax deductions, grants and other incentives for historic commercial properties. Presented by AIA Tampa Bay and Preserve the 'Burg, with support from M R Capital Advisors. 

Dennis Fernandez is the Architectural Review & Historic Preservation Manager for the City of Tampa, where he administers the Architectural Review Commission, Barrio Latino Commission and Historic Preservation Commission, which together oversee historic preservation efforts throughout the city. 

Derek Kilborn is the Urban Planning and Historic Preservation Division Manager for the City of St. Petersburg. His division, which includes two (2) historic preservationists, administers the City’s historic preservation program and provides staff support to the Community Planning and Preservation Commission.

Bob Mayer is the president of M R Capital Advisors LLC, a boutique consulting firm that works in the origination and placement of commercial loans, development strategies and financial incentives for real estate projects.
