Floridian Social Club Tour
Thursday, September 8, 2022
Constructed in 1924 as Alexander National Bank, the Floridian Theater has been a Central Avenue icon for nearly a century.
Repurposed in 1949 as a movie theater, it transitioned to a jazz club and, later, a live music venue known as the State Theater.
Renovations in 2018 through 2020 brought back original 1924 elements and also retained and restored some 1949 designs such as the awning above the entrance, one of the building's signature features.
Join owner Kevin Chadwick for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, and hear about the building's redevelopment.
Tickets include admission to the Floridian Social Club's Jazz Night, featuring live music by jazz big band Hot Tonic, one drink at the bar, and a tour of the building.
$25 for PTB members; $35 for non-members.
Tour reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited.
