Grand Central Lofts Porch Party

Join us for a special porch party at Grand Central Lofts.

An example of adaptive reuse, Grand Central Lofts was originally designed and built by Edgar Ferdon for Paul Nolen and was the home of Nolen's Economy Grocery Store from February 1926 until 1955.

Current owner Bob Jeffrey, a former president of Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association, and his sister purchased the then-vacant building in 2001 and converted it to accommodate a small retail space and four loft-style condo units.

This is a shining example of how historic architecture can be preserved and repurposed to remain part of the city's urban fabric. The resulting blend of old and new won the project the 2004 St. Petersburg Preservation Award for Restoration/Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse.

Light snacks provided; cash bar and non-alcoholic beverages available.

$25 for PTB members and $30 for non-members.
