After a year's absence because of COVID, the best "small" event on the waterfront - Movies in the Park is back! The evening starts with live music at 7 pm followed by the movie on the big screen at dusk. The fun takes place in N. Straub Park, between 4th Ave. & 5th Ave. NE at Beach Dr.
COVID safety practices will be required, including social distancing between groups and face covering requirements. Additionally, there will be a capacity limit of 250 attendees and advance purchase ticketing is required. There will be a ticket charge to help defray event costs which are paid for in their entirety by Preserve the 'Burg.
Come early to get your favorite spot and to enjoy the local live music. Bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from some of the 'Burg's best food vendors, including beer & wine. A limited number of folding chairs will be available, but better yet, bring a blanket or low seat! Music will start at 7 pm but entry will be allowed starting at 6:15 pm. Admission will only be allowed thru the entry gate. Thank you for keeping Movie in the Parks as a COVID safe event by practicing social distancing and face covering.
